New assembly hall officially opened
Yesterday marked an important milestone for Viking Airport Equipment with the official opening of our new assembly hall.
On 20 may, Viking Airport Equipment officially opened its new assembly hall. Driven by continued business growth and increasing customer demand, the existing production facilities at Tailor Home had reached full operational capacity. The new assembly hall represents a strategic investment in Viking’s future, providing the additional space required to support further growth, improve workflow, efficiency, and strengthen production capabilities.
The expansion also enables a full restructuring and optimisation of the production process. With assembly operations now relocated to the new facility, the existing production area can be reorganised to create a more streamlined and efficient manufacturing flow across the entire operation.
In parallel with the expansion, Viking successfully completed its ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 compliance audtis for both the production environment and the new assembly hall. This achievement reflects the company’s continued commitment to quality, operational excellence, and environmental responsibility.
This new assembly hall is an important step forward for Viking Aiport Equipment. It not only increases our production capacity, but also allows us to further optimise the way we manufacture and assemble our products. Successfully completing the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 audits alongside this expansion makes this an even more meaningful milestone for the business and reflects the hard work and dedication of our entire team.
